KARACHI: The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has announced to launch action against industries using gas extractors in Karachi.

According to the spokesperson of Sui Southern Gas Company, the management of the company met a delegation of trade associations and industrial establishments at Governor House Karachi yesterday.
Among other issues, the use of powerful suction boosters by some industries was also discussed in the meeting. Sindh Governor Imran Ismail took stern notice of this blatant violation.

The spokesman for Sui Southern Gas Company said the use of suction devices is seriously affecting the gas supply system in Karachi, and the use of suction boosters is tantamount to committing gas theft.
