The victims who were blackmailed and tortured in Islamabad’s Sector XI of the city government backed from their statement.

One of the victims who is a girl has accused the police of making a false case by refusing to identify the main accused of harassment and blackmail.

Incident of abuse

Six men allegedly tortured a boy and a girl in a flat in Islamabad’s Sector E-11 and forced them to dance before stripping, during which videos were made of them.

According to the challan filed in the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Islamabad, Usman Mirza, Hafiz Ata-ur-Rehman, Farhan Shaheen, Qayyum Butt, Rehan Hassan Mughal, Umar Bilal, and Mohib Bangash committed the offenses.

Video proof

Usman Mirza broke into the apartment, beat up the couple along with his accomplices. The girl swears before taking off her clothes. Not only did Usman Mirza rape the girl but he also asked the boy to do the same. Usman Mirza has also been charged with assault, sexual assault, and blackmail.

Who is Usman Mirza?

Usman Mirza, who is involved in the crime of violence against girls and boys, is a property dealer and also a partner of Autoland in Islamabad. It has been claimed on social media that he owns a showroom. According to the claim, Usman Mirza’s showroom is in the business of buying, selling, and renting new and used cars. According to the Facebook page, Usman Mirza has studied computer science at Punjab College of Commerce.

Notice of the Prime Minister

Prime Minister Imran Khan took stern notice of the incident and demanded full details of the incident from IG Islamabad and directed to bring all the accused to justice as soon as possible.

Preliminary statement of the victims

Islamabad police made the victims part of the case and the two agreed to assure full protection and legal assistance. The girl and the boy have recorded their own statements. The victim stated that he and her friend were forcibly taken to a room and that he was tortured while his friend was stripped naked and received threats for months.

Recent developments

The victim said in a statement before the court yesterday that the police fabricated the scandal and the girl expressed ignorance about the accused. The girl claimed that she did not sign any document related to the case and the police officer got their signature and thumbprints on the blank paper.

The victim told the court that she did not want to pursue the case, however, the judge adjourned the case till January 18 and directed the victim to appear in court again.

State responsibility

It is being reported that the supporters of Usman Mirza have allegedly made a deal with the victim and also agreed to money worth crores and agree to withdraw the statement.

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has said that Usman Mirza, GT Road abuse case, and Shahrukh Jatoi case are a challenge to our justice system. This was stated by Fawad Chaudhry in a statement released on Twitter.

It is true that Usman Mirza’s case has become a challenge for the state, the video of the incident was seen all over the world but due to our weak system in most cases plaintiffs and witnesses back off due to fear and money but now it is the responsibility of the state. It is our duty to bring this case to a logical conclusion so that no influential person would again dare to play with the law and humiliate humanity.
