QUETTA: A case omicron variant has been reported in Balochistan after Sindh as at least 12 new cases of new variants were reported in Kalat.
According to the details, the omicron variant was confirmed among 12 patients from Kalat. Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, in this regard, sought a report from the health department.
CM Balochistan Bizenjo directed immediate quarantine of people infected with the omicron virus. Earlier, the NCOC had allowed booster doses to be given to people over 30 years of age across the country from January 1 next year due to fears of the spread of omicron.

Medical experts have recommended a booster dose of the coronavirus vaccine to prevent the spread of the omicron virus. The NCOC decided two days ago that from January 1, citizens over the age of 30 will be able to take booster doses.
