Bollywood stars Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal on Thursday began a ‘new journey together’ as they tied the knot at the Six Senses ort Barwara in Rajasthan.
Finally, after keeping fans waiting for a long time, the bride and groom shared the pictures on their social handles. Katrina looked breathtakingly beautiful in red colour lehenga. But what grabbed everyone’s attention was her engagement ring.
Katrina shared a series of pictures from the wedding on her official Instagram handle. Among these pictures, there was one in which Katrina was seen wearing wedding a beautiful diamond dust ring with a big sapphire stone attached to the middle of it.
Her wedding ring is from Tiffany & Co. Katrina which is shaped in a rectangle form. According to the reports, the gorgeous ring costs 9800 USD which comes to approx INR 7,40,735. Even her mangalsutra grabbed people’s attention
It is to be noted here that sapphire is a gem that is considered to be one of the costliest also. It is the most valuable and rarest blue coloured natural gemstone. They are a highly desirable gemstone due to their beautiful royal blue color, hardness.
Meanwhile, Vicky wore an ivory silk sherwani with intricate marori embroidery and iconic Sabyasachi handcrafted gold plated Bengal Tiger buttons, with a silk kurta and churidar. The shawl is a tussar georgette with a zari marori embroidered pallu and borders.
Katrina Kaif, while sharing pictures of wedding on Instagram, wrote, “Only love and gratitude in our hearts for everything that brought us to this moment. Seeking all your love and blessings as we begin this new journey together.”
The wedding has been something of a state secret with guests subjected to a no-phone and no-photos rule. No inside pictures or footage is available; however, it is believed that a mehendi ceremony took place on Tuesday as well as a traditional Punjabi ‘ladies sangeet’ organised by Vicky’s mom Veena Kaushal.
