Famed Bollywood actor Kartik Aryan’s first look as a journalist in his upcoming movie ‘Dhamaka’ has taken the internet by storm.
Soon after the trailer is released on a streaming site, Kartik’s performance in his upcoming project ‘Dhamaka’, has taken the internet by storm. In the movie, Kartik can be seen as a journalist who’s after chasing TRP’s while the city of Mumbai is under attack.
Moreover, the plot of the movie revolves around a journalist who gets a tip of a bomb blast during his live radio show, and later the channel’s head makes him sit on reporting seat to address the nation about events happening in Mumbai while it is under attack, also the journalist connects with terrorists, but later the twist appears as the terrorists asked the journalist to call a minister and ask him to apologies otherwise they will blow up the remaining sea link and kill everyone including the journalist’s wife.
However, ahead of the trailer release, Kartik spoke about his character in the movie saying, Arjun Pathak is not a villain, he is a grey character. The common thread in all my characters till now has been the relatability factor and even with Arjun Pathak, he will come across as a relatable person. Even I am very ambitious whether it is my career or whatever it is in my life and so is Arjun Pathak. In various situations that you will see in the film, those situations will be very relatable to many.” Meanwhile, the movie is set to be released on Netflix on November 19, 2021.
