ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday has asserted that the arrival of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallah-o-Alaihe Wa Aalehe Wassallum) in the world brought a revolution in every aspect of human society.

In his message on the occasion of Eid Milad un Nabi, the Prime Minister said that it was the effect of Prophet Muhammad’s (SAWW) life that the Arab tribes that were victims of internal chaos for centuries emerged as a nation.

The premier further said in this state system, minorities were protected, poor and needy were taken care of and rights and obligations of the state and citizens were determined.

“The authority will make the world familiar with the Islamic revolution and will provide guidance to youth enabling them to learn about the life of Prophet Muhammad (SAWW),” the premier concluded.

Separately in a tweet, the Prime Minister said the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) will be celebrated across the country in a befitting manner.

“We will be celebrating the birthday of our Prophet PBUH – Eid I Milad Un Nabi – in a befitting manner across the country. Tomorrow morning President Alvi will be hosting an event & in the afternoon I will be celebrating the auspicious day at the Convention Centre,” he added.

Rehmatul-lil-Aalameen Authority

On October 10, Prime Minister Imran Khan announced the formation of the Rehmatul-lil-Aalameen Authority that would be responsible for researching how best to disseminate lessons from the life of the Holy Prophet (SAWW) to the masses.

The prime minister was addressing the Ashra-e-Rehmat-ul-Lil-Aalamin (PBUH) conference in Islamabad to kick off the ten-day celebration period till the 13th of Rabiul Awwal. He said the new authority would be composed of scholars who would be tasked with researching how to spread the Prophet’s (SAWW) teachings among children and adults.

“I will be the patron myself but we have started searching for a person who has written books of tafsir, has great command [over religion] and is a scholar for the chairman.

“There will be an international advisory board above him on which we will bring the Muslim world’s top scholars — we have looked at many names and are approaching them as well,” the prime minister said.
