Famous Korean drama ‘Mr. Queen’ to broadcast on Urduflix

Famous South Korean television series ‘Mr. Queen’ has become the latest addition that will broadcast on Pakistan’s first Urdu OTT platform ‘Urduflix’.

A 2020 hit drama titled: Mr. Queen’ will be available in Urdu dubbing and will be launched in November this year. In this regard, the trailer of Mr. Queen was recently released on Urduflix. In the trailer of  one minute and 25-second video, the female leading actress can be seen saying, “It will be hard to believe, but it is true that I am a man.”

Gary Pudney, Founder and Managing Director, O4 Media in this regard said, “We are delighted to continue the longstanding working relationship we have with both South Korea and Pakistan. We have experienced in the past the impact Turkish drama has had in Pakistan and hopes this deal is the first of many Korean dramas entering the Pakistani market.”

Mr. Queen is about a modern man who is transported back in time to the Joseon era where he inhabits the body of a queen, essayed by South Korean actress Shin Hye Sun and gets involved with a secretive king, played by Kim Jung Hyun, who hides his intelligence and true personality. Shin Hye Sun plays Jang Bong Hwan who is a modern-day chef, whose would gets trapped in the 18th century’s queen body.
