ISLAMABAD: 955 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Pakistan while 29 more civilians have died due to the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), a total of 1,257,188 people were infected with coronavirus across the country, while 28,087 civilians lost their lives to the virus.
During the last 24 hours, 44,557 tests were performed for the diagnosis of coronavirus, bringing the total number of tests to 1,98,27,048. Nationwide, the virus test result was 2.14 percent.
The condition of 2,644 coronavirus patients across the country is critical. In Punjab, 435,512 people were infected with the virus while 12,770 died. In Sindh, 462,295 corona cases and 7,480 deaths were reported.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 175,584 people were affected by Corona and 5,632 died. In Balochistan, 33,069 cases and 349 deaths were reported. In Gilgit-Baltistan, 10,344 people were infected with corona and 186 died.
In Azad Kashmir, 34,326 people were affected by coronavirus while 739 lost their lives. In Islamabad, 1,058 people were infected with the virus while 931 died. The number of active cases of the virus in the country has reached 43,352.
In the last 24 hours, 1,222 coronavirus patients across the country have succumbed to the virus, bringing the number of healthy people to 1,185,749. The death rate in the last one day was 2.2 percent.
