PML-N leader and MNA Javed Latif has once again announced the return of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
During the press conference, the journalist asked the PML-N leader, “When is Mian Sahib coming back?” Javed Latif replied that the PML-N leader, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, was returning home in December.
Earlier, he had claimed that Nawaz Sharif would return home and lead the nation and bring Pakistan out of the crisis. It may be recalled that since November, Nawaz Sharif had gone abroad for treatment.
The former Prime Minister was shifted to Services Hospital, Lahore on October 22, 2019, due to ill health. Medical tests found Nawaz Sharif’s platelets to be dangerously low. He was shifted home from Services Hospital 16 days later where an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) was set up for him.
Doctors had instructed Nawaz Sharif to go abroad without delay due to increasing health problems. Moreover, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said that the Pandora Papers exposed more layers of corruption of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
The remarks came shortly after the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) released its new investigation into international finance and tax havens titled “Pandora Paper”.
Nearly 700 Pakistanis have been named in the report including Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin, Punjab provincial minister Aleem Khan, PTI Senator Faisal Vawda, PML-Q Leader and Federal Minister for Water Resources Monis Elahi.
