KARACHI: The global epidemic of coronavirus has killed 39 more people in Pakistan, bringing the total number of deaths to 27,986.
According to figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), a total of 1,253,868 people were infected with coronavirus across the country, while 27,986 people died of the virus.
During the last 24 hours, 46,477 tests were performed to diagnose coronavirus, bringing the total number of tests to 1,96,85,529 across the country, the virus test result was 2.60 percent.
The condition of 3,079 coronavirus patients across the country is critical. In Punjab, 434,139 people were infected with the virus while 12,724 died. In Sindh, 461,258 virus cases and 7,451 deaths were reported.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 175,012 people were affected by a coronavirus and 5,608 died. In Balochistan, 33,004 cases and 349 deaths were reported. In Gilgit-Baltistan, 10,338 people were infected with corona and 186 died.
In Azad Kashmir, 34,278 people were affected by coronavirus while 738 lost their lives. In Islamabad, the virus-infected 15,839 people and killed 930. The number of active cases of corona in the country has reached 44,828.
In the last 24 hours, 2,171 coronavirus patients across the country have succumbed to the virus, bringing the number of healthy people to 1,181,054, moreover, the death rate in the last one day was 2.2 percent.
