The global coronavirus has killed 42 more people in Pakistan in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 27,524.
In the last 24 hours, another 2,060 coronavirus cases were reported across the country, according to the latest figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC).
The total number of corona cases in the country has reached 1.236 million. According to the NCOC, 44,958 corona tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, with a positive case rate of 4.58 percent.

The number of cases of coronavirus in Sindh is 454,510, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 172,766, in Punjab 427,583, in Islamabad 14,913, in Balochistan 32,837, in Azad Kashmir 33,990 and in Gilgit-Baltistan 10,289.
The highest number of deaths due to corona was in Punjab where 12,535 people lost their lives while 7,327 died in Sindh, 5,488 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 910 in Islamabad, 184 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 346 in Balochistan, and 734 in Azad Kashmir.
