During the operation, security forces also recovered weapons and ammunition from the terrorists’ hideout. A search of the area is in progress to eliminate any other terrorists, the statement added.
On September 11, one terrorist was killed and six others arrested during an intelligence intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan district.
Security forces conducted the operation in Hassu Khel area of Mir Ali, the military’s media wing added.
