QUETTA: Nine more cases of coronavirus have been reported in Balochistan taking the tally to 177 in the province.
According to the Balochistan government spokesman Liaquat Shahwani, the number of coronavirus cases has increased to 175 in the province. “All the hospitals have been kept in isolation as it helps in recovering from the deadly disease,” he added.
Moreover, 12 patients of coronavirus disease have recovered in Sindh as their test has come negative. The total number of recovered patients in Sindh stands at 77.
In Punjab, another patient died of the novel coronavirus in Punjab, increasing the provincial tally to 11 today. The deceased’s relatives had hidden her travel history from the healthcare staff and acted as if she had other medical issues.
The patient was kept in a normal ward with other patients despite showing clear symptoms of COVID-19 which is contagious and its patients are treated in an isolation.
