At least eight security personnel were killed and several others were injured in a suicide bombing in North Waziristan, according to police sources.
The law enforcers said that the attack was targeted at a police post in the Eidak area of Mir Ali. Four of the slain individuals were police personnel, they added.
Following the blast, security forces quickly cordoned off the area, launching a search operation around the crime scene to ensure the safety of nearby residents and to collect evidence.
