70-year-old woman sexually assaulted during roadside robbery in Lahore

In a shocking incident in Lahore’s Dharampura area, a 70-year-old woman was reportedly sexually assaulted and robbed by two unidentified men, it emerged on Friday.

According to the first information report (FIR) filed at the Mustafabad Police Station, the victim was traveling in a rickshaw when one of the suspects, dressed as a security guard, stopped her under the pretense of conducting a security check.

The suspect then took her to an isolated location near the railway crossing, where the assault and robbery took place.

The FIR further said that another individual, approximately 26 years old, was also involved in the crime. The perpetrators allegedly robbed the woman of Rs70,000 before fleeing.
