A cow in Brazil has set a new world record by producing an astonishing 343 litres of milk in just three days, media reported on Monday.

Typically, cows produce between 12 and 35 litres of milk per day.

This exceptional animal, however, averaged about 114 litres daily, several times higher than the normal yield.

Experts attributed this extraordinary performance to a combination of superior genetics, a carefully balanced diet, meticulous care, and advanced farming technology.

The Holstein-Friesian breed of cow is known for producing the largest amount of milk, making it the most popular dairy breed worldwide.

Also known as the Holstein, this breed is known for its high milk yield, with some cows producing over 87 liters in a single day

For buffalo, the Murrah and Nili-Ravi breeds are known for their high milk production in the subcontinent.
