In Gaza, three young children and a doctor have tragically frozen to death due to severe cold in a refugee camp.
According to Arab media, the Israeli blockade has caused a severe shortage of food, medicine, and supplies in the southern Gaza refugee camp. The freezing temperatures in the camp led to the death of the three children.
Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes bombed a journalist’s vehicle in the Nuseirat refugee camp, resulting in the death of five journalists. Following the Israeli airstrike, 30 people are reported missing. Hamas has claimed that Israel introduced new conditions in ceasefire negotiations, causing a deadlock in the ceasefire agreement.
Since Israel’s attacks on Gaza began in October 2023, the number of Palestinian martyrs has exceeded 45,361, while the number of injured has surpassed 107,000.
Israeli airstrikes on Gaza have resulted in the deaths of 23 Palestinians and left 39 others injured in the last 24 hours.
According to Qatar’s Al Jazeera, Israeli aerial attacks are ongoing across the Gaza Strip. In one attack on a residential building in Gaza City, a pregnant woman was killed. While medical staff managed to save the baby, the mother did not survive.
At another location, renowned Palestinian writer Wala Jumaa Al-Ifranji and her husband Ahmad Said Salama were killed in an Israeli airstrike on their home in the Nuseirat refugee camp, south of Gaza City.
A child also died in a temporary camp in Khan Younis, located in southern Gaza, due to the cold weather. According to health officials, with these latest casualties, the total number of Palestinian martyrs since October 7, 2024, has risen to 45,361.
