Rawalpindi police in an operation arrested three accused who were accused of stealing motorcycles while 13 motorcycles were also recovered from the possession of the accused.
According to details, Rawalpindi police is continuing effective action against the accused involved in motorcycle theft. Police arrested three accused from two different areas of the city.
Waris Khan police arrested two accused Nadeem and Fazal and recovered nine motorcycles from their possession while Sadiqabad police recovered four motorcycles from accused Muzammil.
A total of 13 motorcycles were recovered from the possession of the three accused. Rawalpindi police said that investigation is underway on the motorcycles recovered from the arrested accused.
It may be recalled that earlier Rawalpindi police cracked down on drug dealers during which five accused were arrested and hashish was recovered from the possession of the accused.
Two months ago today, Rawalpindi police during an effective crackdown against drug dealers arrested five accused from whose possession of about 9 kg of cannabis was recovered.
