Karachi: Dengue virus continues to be on the rise not only in Punjab but also in Sindh as 10 new cases of the disease have been reported in Karachi and Hyderabad each.
According to the report of the Sindh Health Department, 8 new cases of dengue have been reported from the eastern and southern districts of Karachi.
Two new cases of dengue have been reported from the Central district of Karachi.
This month, 85 people have been affected by the virus across Sindh, while 39 cases have been reported from Karachi.
17 new cases in Rawalpindi:
On the other hand, the dengue virus has been confirmed in 17 more people of Rawalpindi during the last 24 hours.
In the city adjacent to the capital, the number of people affected by dengue this season has risen to 2431. Presently 57 dengue patients are under treatment out of which two are in critical condition.
