Claims surface of U.S President Donald Trump seeking payments to shape conflict course as an Omani journalist claimed that the U.S president asked for trillion of dollars from Gulf countries to continue wage war against Iran or if they want him to halt the operation.
Omani journalist and international affairs researcher Salem Al-Jahouri speaking to BBC Arabic confirmed that the White House was exerting pressure on Gulf states to take a broader role in the war against Iran, both militarily and financially.
Jahouri said that members of the Gulf Cooperation Council were facing increasing demands.
🚨 TRUMP JUST SENT THE ARAB STATES A PRICE LIST FOR THE IRAN WAR. THE NUMBERS ARE INSANE. 🚨
An Omani journalist broke this on BBC Arabic today.
Trump’s reported demands from Arab states:
💀 $5,000,000,000,000 — if they want the war to CONTINUE

He pointed to circulating reports suggesting that the US president was seeking around $5 trillion from GCC countries for the continuation of the war, while a payment of $2.5 trillion was allegedly being demanded to bring the conflict to a halt.
The GCC has publicly opposed the military campaign launched by Israel and the United States on February 28, and has rejected claims that it allowed its territory to be used for attacks.
Despite these statements, reports have indicated that US forces have launched rockets from locations within the Gulf, and that American warplanes have passed through Gulf airspace en route to carry out strikes on Iran.
