15.5 million people recover from COVID-19 globally

WASHINGTON: The coronavirus has killed 797,117 people worldwide and affected 22,862,465. So far, 15,517,694 million patients have been cured.

The United States ranks first among the countries affected by the epidemic, with 5,746,272 people affected and 177,224 killed. Brazil is the second most affected country by the epidemic, with more than 3.5 million people affected and 112,423 killed.

The number of corona patients in India has risen to more than 2.9 million and the total number of deaths is 54,975. In Russia, the coronavirus has infected 942,106 people and killed 16,099.

The death toll from Corona in South Africa has risen to 12,618, with more than 599,000 people affected. In Mexico, 543,806 people were affected and 59,106 died.

So far, more than 15.5 million patients worldwide have succeeded in defeating Corona, and the number of active cases is currently 6.547 million.

The first 5 million cases of Corona in the world were reported in 185 days while the last 5 million cases came to light in just 18 days.

The first case of coronavirus was reported on November 17, 2019, and on March 6, the number of cases worldwide exceeded one million.

The number of corona cases worldwide reached 5 million on 20th May, and more than 10 million on 27th June. On 22nd July, the total number of cases reached 15 million. The total number of cases worldwide on 9th August was more than 20 million.
