SAN FRANCISCO: YouTube, the world’s biggest online video-sharing platform, has announced to replace Google Play Music in December this year.
YouTube announced that after months of efforts, they are now ready to migrate Google Play Music users to YouTube Music. The transition will take place over a period of one year starting next month.
Recently, Google added a few features such as explore tabs, song lyrics, and the ability to migrate music, tastes, and playlists from Google Play Music to YouTube music in order to make the transition seamless. The video-sharing platform will start taking over Play Music in September, beginning with South Africa and New Zealand.
