Police have arrested a man, his wife, and two domestic workers following the discovery of an 18-year-old maid’s body at a residence in a private housing society in the Kala Gujran area of Jhelum.
According to authorities, the body was recovered from inside the house and transported to the District Headquarters Hospital for an autopsy. Initial post-mortem findings revealed multiple signs of torture on the victim’s body.
The case was registered following a formal complaint by the victim’s father, who alleged that his daughter was physically assaulted by the homeowners after being falsely accused of stealing jewelry.

He maintained that the accusations were baseless and that his daughter had been subjected to severe abuse.
Police said that investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of death and circumstances surrounding the incident. The victim’s body has been sent to Okara, where her final rites will be conducted.
