LOS ANGELES: Hollywood actor Tom Hanks has urged fans to wear masks after he got vaccinated for the coronavirus, which has affected 77 million people across the world.
In an interview, the veteran star was asked about the vaccine to which he replied that he will get vaccinated after vulnerable groups have been injected. He had said that he will be taking the vaccine publicly to encourage others.
It is to be noted that Hanks was one of the first popular names from the world of entertainment to test positive for the coronavirus. He also talked about the importance of wearing masks and revealed that he and his wife still wear face protection even after recovering from COVID-19.

Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson also donated their blood and plasma for the treatment of severely ill coronavirus patients. After recovering from the virus, he had said that his bones felt like they were made of soda crackers.
