Host and model Mathira, who is famously known for her bold pictures and fiery statements, has recently opened up about being bullied once by Pakistani leading actress Sonya Hussyn.
Recently, Mathira posted on her Instagram story and shared her battle with depression during and after her divorce, and a traumatic experience she faced when actress Sonya Hussyn bullied her. “You are a fake girl. Some women like her are pretty faces but ugly souls”, Mathira wrote in her story.
Mathira recalled that there were some people who stood by her side during that hard time she was facing, such as actor Azfar Rehman. She later posted another story thanking all the people for supporting her.
Mathira later shared a story in which Sonya Hussyn has settled things with her. She wrote in her story, “Sisters forever. United we stand.”
In her story, actress Sonya Hussyn mentioned that she cleared the misunderstanding with Mathira. She also spoke about how depression is real and very difficult to deal with. “Hearing Mathira had to deal with it alone was indeed heartbreaking.”
She also called out Mathira and wrote she is like a sister to the actress and she will always be there for Mathira.
The model raked up quite a controversy when she opened about body-shaming. Earlier this year, she uploaded a story on her Instagram in which she admitted that she is chubby and happy the way she is and how she is. She also asked people who are they to shame her over her body and advised them to focus on their own selves.
‘I’m so tired of people saying why I have done implants and all seriously it’s a shame I have hormonal imbalances issue,” she said by adding, “Stop it if I do surgeries I will certainly own up I have put on weight but please stop this nonsense of calling me plastic.”
