SANGHAR: A woman was killed in the name of honour in Khipro area of Sanghar district.
The incident occurred in Village Dar Muhammad Shar where a woman Gulshan Shar was shot dead by her husband Juman Shar. The suspect fled from the scene after the incident.
Her father Mohib Shar told a local newspaper that she had returned home from Dar-ul-Amaan after which her husband killed her. Police reached the scene of the incident and shifted the body in a rickshaw to Taluqa Hospital in Khipro where her post-mortem was conducted.
A few days ago, the woman has expressed fear that she may be killed by her husband. She said a local feudal had ordered to kill her but her father had refused and instead sent her to a shelter home.
Gulshan had married Juman two years ago and had no children. She also expressed fear that her father, brother and other family members may be killed.
