MIRPURKHAS: A woman on Tuesday gave birth to a child on a road in Mirpurkhas, Sindh.
Journalist Imtiaz Chandio shared a photo of a woman in the midst of childbirth on X, formerly known as Twitter, without offering specific details. He highlighted the woman’s delivery occurring outside a hospital in Mirpurkhas, while criticizing the lengthy tenure of the PPP in the province.
It’s important to note that the PPP has maintained control over the Sindh province since 2008.
Prior to this incident, another woman gave birth in a restroom at the People’s Medical College and Hospital in Nawabshah, Sindh. Aasia Masih, hailing from Sanghar, delivered her baby in the hospital’s gynecology ward restroom.
Tragically, the newborn fell into the toilet and perished. The baby remained lodged in the toilet for four hours before being retrieved, necessitating the breaking of the toilet bowl by hospital staff to recover the body. Aasia and her family attributed the incident to negligence on the part of the hospital’s doctors.
