A woman allegedly attacked her husband with acid after he arrived at a Union Council office to finalise divorce proceedings.
The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Gujar Khan Police Station. The victim, identified as Kamran Hussain, had reportedly attended the Union Council office in connection with divorce-related matters.
According to police officials, the woman threw acid at her husband shortly after he exited the office, causing serious injuries. Kamran Hussain was immediately transported to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital for medical treatment.
The suspect was arrested at the scene by police officers. Preliminary investigations suggest that the attack stemmed from an ongoing domestic dispute between the couple.
Police authorities stated that the victim is currently out of danger and receiving medical care. A formal case has been registered against the accused, and further investigations are underway.
