ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court Advocate Adil Aziz Qazi has said they want to solve the problems of lawyers after winning the elections of Islamabad Bar Council (IBC).
According to details, Bar Council elections will be held in Islamabad on October 28. All the candidates are busy in their respective election campaigns. 23 candidates are contesting the elections while the total number of voters is 4,600. Every voter will be able to cast 5 votes.
Bar Council candidate Adil Aziz Qazi while talking to MM News said, “The purpose of contesting the election is to provide facilities to new lawyers. Lawyers will be able to assert their status”.
Adil Aziz said that 2,000 to 3,000 new lawyers join the bar in five years. He said that he was worried about the way of bringing them to the market without training.
Regarding the problems of lawyers, Adil said that if Allah Almighty gives success, new lawyers will be trained so much that they will not face small problems. Providing new lawyers with a source of income so that they do not have to worry about finances, he added.
Advocate Aziz said that the lawyers with new licenses would be able to fight their case in the courts in a good way if they learn all the work from the Bar Council.
“The role of the Bar Council is very important in bringing lawyers forward,” he said. The bar councils all over the world train lawyers. “We want the training of our lawyers to be up-to-date,” he added.
