‘John Wick 5′ has officially been renewed after the booming business of Chapter 4, which was released this year in March.
The fourth film brought in $73.8 million USD domestically and even an A CinemaScore from audiences. Overseas, the film made an impressive feat as well, with a debut of $141.1 million USD.

Its story follows John Wick (Keanu Reeves), a legendary hitman who is forced out of retirement to seek revenge against the men who hurt him, and then in other sequels, he survives living a private life but fails to.

In the last movie, the audience witnessed Wick is granted freedom from the High Table by the Harbinger, however, due to injuries, he bleeds out while watching the sunset. The movie ends with Continental Hotel manager Winston and his friend the Bowery King visiting Wick and his wife’s grave at the end of the movie.

Yes, it is! Earlier, it was reported that Lionsgate’s motion picture group planned to shoot John Wick: Chapters 4 and 5 back-to-back, but this idea was scrapped due to production delays.
Now, during the company’s earnings call, Lionsgate’s motion picture group President, Joe Drake, announced, “What is official is that, as you know, Ballerina is the first spinoff that comes out next year. We’re in development on three others, including [John Wick 5] and including television series The Continental.”
