Pakistan appears to have taken a cautious approach to Israel-Hamas war due to Western pressure as the Pakistani government, which does not have diplomatic relations with Israel, has restricted all commercial banks from accepting donations for Palestinians in Gaza.
Users shared an alleged circular from Bank Alfalah that stated “With immediate effect, all BAFL Branches are advised not to accept any donation funds in favor of the account of the Embassy of State of Palestine”.
Users on X responded to this news immediately because they felt that the government’s conduct was unfair to Pakistani citizens who have a personal bond with Muslim brethren residing in Palestine.

The aforementioned bank has not responded to the development, despite the fact that numerous individuals with verified accounts have shared the information.
It should be noted that the cricket board instructed a cricket player to delete a tweet honoring Gaza after the Pakistani government had earlier allegedly placed restrictions on pro-Palestine demonstrators.
