Actress Ayeza Khan has recently opened up about getting to work with Bollywood’s top two directors Imtiaz Ali.
The Chupke Chupke actress appeared on a TV show and revealed that she was offered a Bollywood movie by the famous director Imtiaz Ali. However, Ayeza Khan turned down the offer and shared that she wanted to first do a Pakistani movie before foraying into Bollywood.
The Meray Paas Tum Ho star also revealed that Imtiaz asked her to seek permission from her husband Danish Taimoor. During the show which was being hosted by Ahsan also confessed that when he met Bajirao Mastani‘s director Sanjay Leela Bhansali in India, he inquired about Ayeza Khan from Ahsan. He quickly added that later he got to know that she turned down the offer because of Danish and her kids.

On the work front, the actress is working as Geeti in the drama ‘Laapata’ that airs every week on Wednesday and Thursday. Talking about her character, Ayeza Khan opened up on why she preferred to do Geeti’s character and not Falak’s in the drama Laapata in an interview.

Geeti is a TikToker whereas Falak’s character was more on the serious and sporty side as she was spotted playing tennis, and the role was essayed by Sarah Khan. On one end, Ayeza faced criticism from her fans for playing the character of Geeti as they thought it did not suit her sober personality while others gushed over her acting.
