An important development has emerged in the case of the abduction and murder of Mustafa Amir, with chilling revelations regarding the main suspect, Armaghan.
According to police sources, Armaghan delayed his arrest to erase important data from his computer. Investigative officials stated that before his arrest, Armaghan was either deleting files or transferring them elsewhere. He also intermittently fired shots to prevent the police from entering.
The investigation also revealed that during the raid, the suspect was active on his computer. CCTV footage showed Armaghan monitoring the police’s movements. A girl was also there with him at the time of the raid.
Sources say that Armaghan suspected the girl of informing the police, which led him to assault her. Later, after firing at the police, he forced the girl out of the room. The police recovered heavily and prohibited firearms worth millions of rupees from Armaghan’s house, for which they showed no license. The suspect and his father failed to prove the legal status of the weapons.
The investigation also revealed that Armaghan had installed over 40 CCTV cameras in his house and resisted the police team for four hours.
According to sources, during the investigation, another suspect, Shiraz, provided crucial information. Shiraz told the police that Armaghan had called Mustafa Amir to his house, where he was brutally tortured with iron rods for three hours.
According to Shiraz, when Mustafa became semi-conscious, Armaghan taped his mouth and took him to Hub. Shiraz stated that Armaghan checked Mustafa’s breathing before dousing him with petrol and setting him on fire.
When the trunk of the car was opened, Mustafa Amir was still alive. Armaghan then poured petrol on the car and set it ablaze. It has also been revealed that Armaghan had a penchant for bullying, violence over trivial matters, firing guns, and extorting money from people.
