Super Bowl 59 is just hours away as the highly anticipated matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles is set to take place at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday
However, there is another highlight fans eagerly await; rap megastar Kendrick Lamar will perform at the Super Bowl LIX halftime show on Sunday.
Lamar won’t be performing alone; Grammy-winning artist SZA, renowned for her soulful voice and unique style, will join him as a special guest at the Caesars Superdome for the halftime show.
Meanwhile, Grammy and Oscar-winning artist Jon Batiste has been chosen to perform the national anthem.
With kickoff scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET, you can expect the halftime show to begin between 8-8:15 p.m. ET.

As for the Super Bowl 2025 halftime show lineup, Kendrick Lamar is the headliner, with SZA as a guest performer. This will mark Lamar’s second time performing at the Super Bowl. He previously shared the stage with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Anderson .Paak during the Super Bowl LVI halftime show in 2022.
