An explicit video featuring Dolphin Ayan Ali, a transgender person from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, recently surfaced on social media, exposing a deeply disturbing incident of harassment. The video captures someone threatening Ayan with a gun, forcing her to undress while being filmed.
Following the video’s resurfacing, calls have been made for government and police protection for transgender individuals, with many demanding action against those responsible for this act of cyber harassment.
Ayan has filed a police report, stating that the video was filmed without her consent two years ago. She has also provided authorities with details about the alleged perpetrator’s identity and location.
Ayan intends to file an additional complaint with the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing to hold those involved in the video’s circulation accountable.
Police officials confirmed they have reached out to Ayan regarding the incident, adding that a case was previously lodged.
They assured the public that the FIA is now moving to take action against those responsible for recently distributing the video. Public outrage has mounted, with many demanding swift action under cybercrime laws to protect the rights and dignity of transgender individuals.
