A day after her private video leaked online, Pakistani TikToker Minahil Malik on Tuesday reacted on the matter and labeled the video as fake and morphed.
She has also approached the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) against the culprit behind the video, however, she neither named any person in her complaint nor hinted toward any person.
Now the matter is under investigation by the FIA, and after the completion of the probe, it may be determined who leaked the video.
Malik shared a statement in a video, calling the clip “fake” and said it was edited and morphed to malign her.
The social media sensation also lodged a formal complaint with the Cyber Crime Wing of the FIA), expressing the emotional toll the situation has taken on her family, and describing the distress caused by the unwarranted attention.
She also urged fans to report the clip and stand by her during this challenging time, emphasizing the importance of support in navigating such a difficult ordeal.
This is not the first time when Minahil has been targeted with leaked pictures and videos, she faced the situation a couple of years back but was supported by millions of followers.
In the alleged explicit video, which surfaced on Monday, the TikTok star can be seen engaging in intimate moments with a friend.
The video, reportedly circulating on social media, allegedly showed Malik and her companion in a room, leading to intense trolling and bullying.
The video sparked debate on the internet, where some social media users are expressing disappointment while others called it a publicity stunt.
