Social media influencer and former model Babar (aka Bebo Baloch) was arrested on charges of supplying crystal meth and cocaine, police said.
According to police, she was taken into custody from 26th Street near Khayaban-e-Badr in Defence Phase 5. Police also recovered ice from the accused.
During interrogation, Babra not only confessed to indulging in drugs herself but also confessed to being involved in drug supply in areas like Defence.
She also admitted that she has been arrested twice before and has confessed to theft crimes. She is accused of being involved in supplying drugs at private functions and in high-class circles.
Who is Bebo Baloch?
As per available information, Babra, a resident of Gulshan-e-Iqbal, started her career with modeling in 2007 and later gained popularity on TikTok. Having studied up to intermediate, Babra entered the showbiz industry.
Babra’s family life was reportedly marked by instability, following her parents’ divorce and her mother’s remarriage in 2017. She is said to have faced a difficult upbringing at her stepfather’s residence, which eventually prompted her to move into an apartment in the Muslim Commercial area. There, she began her modeling career and gradually built a presence on social media.
According to police, Babra was leading a double life behind her public persona. She frequently attended private gatherings in affluent neighborhoods, where she was first introduced to narcotics such as crystal meth and cocaine. Over time, she reportedly developed a dependency and became involved in the distribution of these substances at such events and through personal networks.
