In a significant shake-up for the iconic rock band, Linkin Park has announced Emily Armstrong, formerly of Dead Sara, as their new co-vocalist. This marks a new chapter for the band, which is also set to release their first new album in seven years and embark on a major world tour.

Emily Armstrong, a prominent figure in the rock music scene, is best known as the lead singer and guitarist for the Los Angeles-based band Dead Sara. At 38 years old, Armstrong has built a reputation for her commanding vocal presence and dynamic performances. Her work with Dead Sara began with their self-titled debut album in 2012, which included the hit track “Weatherman,” recognized as Loudwire’s Rock Song of the Year.
Dead Sara went on to release two more albums, Pleasure to Meet You and Ain’t It Tragic, further solidifying Armstrong’s position in the industry. The band was known for its energetic live performances and covers of influential rock bands like Rage Against the Machine, Led Zeppelin, and Nirvana.
Before her success with Dead Sara, Armstrong contributed backing vocals to Courtney Love’s Nobody’s Daughter and collaborated with Demi Lovato on tracks from the Holy Fvck album. Her extensive experience and distinctive voice caught the attention of Linkin Park, leading to her joining the band as their new vocalist.
