A hashtag of #HIDAYAT_THE_RAPIST has started trending on social media where outraged users are demanding strict action against a man named Hidayat Khilji.
Since then, there are speculations of who Khilji really is and what did he do?
Who is Hidayat Khilji?
A man named Hidayat Khilji, who is a former councilor in Quetta was arrested by the police for abducting and allegedly sexually abusing two girls. He along with his brother named Khalil used to abuct, drug and rape girls mainly from Quetta by tricking them into providing jobs.
The complaint
The action was taken against the Hidayat Khilji after a woman filed a complaint at the police station regarding the abduction of her two daughters. She blamed that Khilji and his brother Khalil for abducting her daughters and raping them.
Khilji used to give drugs to the girls, by tricking them on the promise of giving them jobs. The accused then used to film them then later blackmail this victim through their obscene videos.
Blackmailing
The abducted girls are 15 and 19 years old. Both of them were abducted and sexually abused by the accused and their videos were made. The woman told the police that because of these videos, the accused is now blackmailing her daughters into prostitution.
Khilji and his laptop
Police during the raid recovered several objectionable videos of other girls as well. The captured videos include sex girls from Hazara, 221 Pashtun, 63 Baloch, and 22 Urdu-speaking Sindhi and Punjabi-speaking girls.
Police’s stance
SHO Quaidabad Police Station Ijaz Ahmed said, “We received a complaint from a local woman who said that her two daughters were being blackmailed by the accused named Hidayat and his brother Khalil”.
