The technical challenges have now been completed, and the final showstoppers have been perfected, bringing us a brand new champion of the Great British Bake Off.
According to a report by BBC on Wednesday, the grand finale was as thrilling as ever, with the three talented finalists pulling out all the stops to impress the judges and claim the coveted Great British Bake Off crown. Amidst some truly remarkable cake creations, there could only be one winner.

After weeks of intense competition, Georgie emerged as the winner of this year’s Great British Bake Off. The nurse has made history by becoming the first contestant from Wales to win the prestigious competition. The show, hosted by Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond, saw 12 bakers face 30 challenges over 10 episodes.
Upon hearing the news, Georgie exclaimed, “This is mad! I have won it, I can’t believe it. This is just incredible. I can’t believe that I have won The Great British Bake Off.” Judge Dame Prue Leith praised her by saying, “Georgie did what she does best, classic British baking beautifully done, and won it, and quite right, too.”

Paul Hollywood also complimented her, stating, “The Welsh wonder, Georgie, smashed it out of the park.” Georgie reflected, “There were times in the series I thought I might be going home. The fact that I did it for Wales was amazing, and I had massive support throughout from Wales. I hope I have done them proud.”
“When I heard I had won, it felt so surreal, and I couldn’t quite believe it. All my family were there watching me… Overall, what I learned from the show was to really be myself and to trust and believe in myself.”
