Heartthrob Fawad Khan has spilled the beans on kissing his coworkers from Bollywood and said that he refused to share onscreen kissing scenes with Alia Bhatt and Sonam Kapoor.
In an interview, Alia Bhatt disclosed that Fawad Khan had hesitated to perform a kissing scene while filming ‘Kapoor & Sons’.
According to Alia, despite the scripted requirement for a kiss, Fawad would flinch each time she approached, ultimately avoiding the onscreen intimacy.
Similarly, Fawad Khan declined to do a kissing scene with Sonam Kapoor in his Bollywood debut film, ‘Khoobsurat’. During the film’s promotions, Fawad explained that he considered the sentiments of his core audience and felt that performing such scenes could potentially offend them.
His decision was rooted in a desire to respect the cultural values of his fanbase. While Fawad’s stance on onscreen intimacy differs from some Bollywood norms, he has garnered admiration for staying true to his values and cultural considerations.
