The 65th Grammy Awards, the most significant yearly event in the music industry, is about to take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, USA.
Back in June, the Recording Academy officially announced that the upcoming ceremony will feature five new Grammy Awards categories, adding extra excitement.
These include Songwriter Of The Year (Non-Classical) and Best Score Soundtrack For Video Games, and will mean more awards than ever are going to be handed out.
For the third year running, comedian Trevor Noah will serve as the event’s presenter, while artists such as Harry Styles, Bad Bunny, Mary J. Blige, Brandi Carlile, Luke Combs, Steve Lacy, Lizzo, Kim Petras and Sam Smith will all take to the stage as the event’s official performers.
Beyoncé is back with her momentous album Renaissance, up for nine awards including Album of the Year. Adele will face off against Beyoncé in all of the major categories for the first time since 2017, when she famously rejected the night’s biggest award, saying it should have gone to Beyoncé for Lemonade. Taylor Swift is also back, having submitted her best song, “All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault),” for two categories and secured nominations for Song of the Year and Best Music Video.
