Born on July 26, 1979, in Karşıyaka, İzmir, Engin Altan Düzyatan graduated from the Theatre Department of Dokuz Eylül University in 1996. He began his acting career with roles in various television series and films before achieving international fame with his portrayal of Ertuğrul Gazi in Diriliş: Ertuğrul, which aired from 2014 to 2019. The series, which spanned 150 episodes, brought him widespread recognition.
