Now, The Addams Family’s one of the favourite character Wednesday has gotten a spotlights as a series based on the same character is set to stream on Netlflix.
The upcoming comedy-horror is a supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams, according to Netflix.

Unless you are not a Millenial, you probably already know who Wednesday Addams is. She is the main character of a cartoon series ‘The Addams Family’. The series was turned into a live-action movie in 1991.
Storyline
For the 2022 spinoff show, Wednesday on Netflix delves into the titular figure’s days as a student at the Nevermore Academy in the small town of Jericho where she has both friends and enemies.
She has to navigate new, and very tangled, relationships, master her emerging psychic ability and thwart a monstrous killing spree that’s terrorized the local school. Wednesday must also solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago.

As per Netflix, there will be eight episodes in which Wednesday will attempt to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town.
Cast
Wednesday stars Ortega alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia, Luis Guzmán as Gomez, and Isaac Ordonez as Wednesday’s brother Pugsley. Christina Ricci, who played Wednesday in the ’90s film, stars in the new series as a new character.
When will Wednesday stream?
As per reports, the Wednesday series will be coming to Netflix in the Fall of 2022. An exact release date has yet to be revealed, however, it’s our expectation that Wednesday will be part of Netflix’s Halloween 2022 line-up.
