Sui Southern Gas Company has released the scheduled of gas load shedding for Sindh and Balochistan.

March 7, 2024

KARACHI: Sui Southern Gas Company has released gas load shedding times in Ramadan, announced to ensure gas supply during Suhoor and Iftar hours.

The spokesperson of Sui Southern Gas Company said that the company will ensure the supply of gas to its customers during the preparation of Suhoor and Iftar in the month of Ramadan.

The spokesman says that due to the decrease of 8 to 10 percent in the country’s gas reserves every year, there is a clear decrease in the demand and supply of gas in the Sui Southern Gas system, to ensure better gas pressure. Gas pressure profiling will be continued from 9 am to 3 pm, while profiling will be done during night hours from 10 pm to 3 pm.

It should be noted that these working hours have been determined by Sui Southern Gas Company in the context of preparing food for Suhoor and Iftar in the month of Ramadan.

It should be remembered that there is a severe gas crisis in the city of Quaid, the citizens of Karachi are forced to use expensive LPG due to the non-availability of gas, while the poor residents are still living by burning wood in Karachi.
