SHARM EL SHEIKH: Minister of Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said in the context of this year’s disastrous floods that we are planning to deal with future challenges.
According to details, Ahsan Iqbal said during a meeting with his Egyptian counterpart Hala Hala Al-Saeed on the sidelines of COP27 that the government is working on the rehabilitation of flood victims and the reconstruction of infrastructure.
During the meeting with the Minister of Planning of Egypt, Ahsan Iqbal said that Pakistan is creating a reconstruction strategy to determine the best way to deal with future troubles and challenges.

Federal Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal said that the worst effects of the recent floods in Pakistan were on the backward sections of the society. The issues of developing countries were also discussed between the two ministers and Pakistan-Egypt relations were also discussed.
While talking during the meeting, Ahsan Iqbal and the Egyptian minister also expressed their resolve to benefit from each other’s experience in the problems of developing countries and between Pakistan and Egypt.
