Bollywood star Vidya Balan delighted her fans with a lip-sync performance of dialogues from the Pakistani drama ‘Lapata,’ adding her own Bhojpuri twist. Known for her active presence on social media, Balan regularly shares humorous videos on her official Instagram account.
Her latest video, which went viral immediately, showcases her mimicking lines from ‘Lapata,’ originally delivered by Pakistani actors Ali Rehman and Sarah Khan, in Bhojpuri.

It is worth mentioning that Vidya Balan is one of Bollywood’s most acclaimed female actors, honored with the National Film Award, Filmfare Awards, and the Padma Shri. In her nearly two-decade-long career, she has starred in numerous blockbuster films, with standout performances in ‘Parineeta,’ ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa,’ ‘Paa,’ ‘Ishqiya,’ ‘No One Killed Jessica,’ ‘The Dirty Picture,’ ‘Tumhari Sulu,’ and ‘Mission Mangal.’ Her most recent big-screen appearance was with Shefali Shah in the suspense film “Jalsa.” Balan has ‘Neeyat’ and an unnamed film with Pratik Gandhi in 2023.
