Former Pakistani cricketer, Wasim Akram has been issued a UAE Golden Visa in recognition of his services to the cricket field.
In his message on Facebook, Wasim Akram wrote that it was an honour for him to be issued a Golden Visa by the Dubai government. Akram said that in recognition of his services in the field of cricket, he was issued a Golden Visa. “Dubai is the best place in the world for business, vacation and connecting with the world,” he posted.
“I congratulate the UAE on its 50th anniversary and look forward to spending more time in a better place like Dubai,” said the former national team captain. The UAE is providing facilities to foreign investors and celebrities. All-rounder Shoaib Malik and his wife Sania Mirza were also issued golden visas by the Dubai government.
It may be recalled that earlier the statement of former Pakistan cricket team captain Wasim Akram regarding former team doctor Tauseef opened a new Pandora’s box according to which he was put under pressure.
According to details, Dr. Tauseef revealed that pressure was exerted to keep Wasim Akram out of the team. According to private TV (ARY), Dr. Tauseef said that Wasim Akram was injured in Sharjah.
