Actor Wahaj Ali, who has been seen playing different characters with well-known personalities, has revealed the reason behind working in limited projects.
In a recent interview, the Fitoor actor while revealing the reason behind working in limited projects said that fans have certain expectations from him right now and he does not want to disappoint them.
According to Ali, scripts are too stereotypical or lackluster and nothing was exciting for him. “To this, I point out that, unfortunately, most Pakistani dramas aren’t that exciting and are also repetitive,” noted Wahaj.
Wahaj Ali also shared that refusing scripts is also not a solution as turning it down means one has to sit at home doing nothing for several months. “It can really bring on a financial crunch but for now,” he added. “I want to choose scripts carefully. I’m in no hurry,” he further added.
Wahaj Ali is a Pakistani actor.He has played the male lead in several massive hit drama serials. He rose to fame after the drama Ehd-e-Wafa in which he played the leading role of Shariq. He further established his successful career through his leading roles in Fitoor as Hamza, Jimmy in Dil Na Umeed Toh Nahi and Basim in Ishq Jalebi which was both critically acclaimed and very well-received by the audience.

Ali started his career as an assistant director at Samaa TV. Then he went on to play lead in several notable television serials including Hari Hari Churiyan (2017), Dil Nawaz (2017), Mah-e-Tamaam (2017), Dil-e-Bereham (2019), Bharam (2019) Ehd-e-Wafa (2019), Mera Maan Rakhna (2020), Bikhray Moti (2020), Ghisi Piti Mohabbat (2020), Fitoor(2021), Ishq Jalebi and Dil Na Umeed To Nahi (2021).
