KARACHI: Shaniera Akram, a wife of former cricketer Wasim Akram, has said that the public hanging is not the way forward.
Taking to Twitter, Shaniera Akram wrote that if we really want to change as a nation we need to change our mindset.
#ViolenceDoesntSolveViolence Public Hanging is not the way forward. If we want a safe civilised society & the worlds respect we can’t live in the dark ages. We need to work harder as a nation, fight harder as a people and demand better protection for our woman and children!

In another tweet, Akram further wrote that a man that bashes, rapes, burns, and kills a small child is sick and does not care about consequences like a normal human being. “He’s not worried about death. Death is too good for him. Death is peace,” she wrote.
I know but it doesn’t work like that. A man that bashes, rapes, burns and kills a small child is sick and doesn’t care about consequences like a normal human being. He’s not worrying about death. Death is too good for him. Death is peace https://t.co/RtvKgndW6w
